Congratulations to Sarah Palin, and condolences to the left: Sarah Palin is the most desirable celebrity neighbor, according to a poll conducted by Zillow.com. For the second time in a week, she out-polled Oprah in a public opinion poll. (The first was the “Most Admired Woman” survey) Maybe Oprah should have interviewed her after all. By the way, where is that post-election interview that Oprah promised?

Happy New Year!

Happy 2009! Most of America is eager to put 2008 in the books. I know many Republicans would like to forget 2008. 2009 dawns with many, many challenges for the United States, challenges that are make-or-break for the Republic. For today, at least, we should kick back and enjoy the company of family and friends, and take in a football game, or two, or three. Tomorrow, we can all begin to tackle 2009.
