Who’s Got the Better Veep Candidate Now, Huh?

imageThe great Joe Biden is having a horrible week. Biden was elected to the County Legislature at age 27, to the United States Senate at age 29, has served in the U.S. Senate for the past 36 years, and has basically never held a real job in his entire adult life. Heck even the famous “Kate’s Restaurant” which Joe touted in the Palin-Biden Debate as his one case of supposedly staying in touch with average folks, actually closed down 20 years ago, so how frequently does good old Joe Biden really drop in at his so-called favorite neighborhood restaurant?  Gee, Joe’s last visit must have been prior to 1988!  Real frequent customer, huh?  Sen. Biden’s being almost completely out of touch with the real world shows on occasion, none more so than this past week.  Sen. Biden stuck his foot so deep into his mouth that they are tasting it down at ACORN headquarters.  Meanwhile, Gov. Palin, the allegedly inexperienced “Caribou Barbie”, is having a week that would have made Ronald Reagan proud, barnstorming the country to overflow crowds, and giving dynamic speeches at every stop. Hey guys, who has the better Veep candidate now?

It has long been said that Senator Biden suffers from foot-in-mouth disease, that he is the Guru of Gaffes.  Well, this week he has committed a doozy.  Speaking to a fundraiser, he was a little too frank.  He said:

“It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking.... Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy . . . . I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate … And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” (Emphasis added by MFP editor.)

It is crystal clear what AMTRAK Joe meant.  The Republic is on the verge of electing a neophyte president, one whom an enemy will test in a very dangerous way.  The emphasized sentence is actually scary.  What does he mean?  Does he mean that Israel will be attacked and we will not respond militarily?  Does he mean that we would not respond forcefully if Russia pulled the tanks into another neighbor?  Very scary stuff.  Big Mac has been making hay on the Biden gaffe for the past two days.  The exposure from the gaffe is significant.  And according to the Rush Limbaugh radio show, Biden is spending the day on the bench, not on the trail.

Then there is Governor Palin.  When she appeared on “Saturday Night Live,” she drew the largest audience that program has seen in fourteen years.  She has played to overbooked crowds in New Mexico and Nevada.  She has thrown off the chains and has started giving interviews on the campaign trail.  Even the New York Times has taken notice.

In her October 20, 2008 Political Memo, Times columnist Julie Brosnan observed that, “Gov. Sarah Palin seems like a candidate trying to wriggle free of her handlers,” and reported that one of her colleagues felt that Gov. Palin was evolving “from one of the least accessible to the most accessible of the four candidates.” From the New York Times, that is a rave!

So now we have Joe Biden, who is a liability for his ticket, and Sarah Palin, who is the number one asset of the Republican ticket.  What do you know about that?

LINK: “WELL, THANKS FOR THE WARNING, JOE!” Sarah Palin tackes this issue head on, in what may be her very best speech of the campaign so far! Yes, even MSNBC can no longer ignore Governor Palin’s best speeches.  Click on this amazing video; Sarah Palin methodically destroys Obama-Biden on this issue, point by point. This is a dynamite speech.  She’s ready to lead!  (This is the kind of dynamic speechmaking that enormous crowds are hearing in cities across America on the “Sarah Palin Road to Victory” tour—see the Men for Palin exclusive on this website: “What It’s Really Like to Attend a Sarah Palin Rally") Listen to Governor Sarah Palin’s speech on “OBAMA’S LOOMING CRISIS”, as she methodically details Crisis Scenario #1, Crisis Scenario #2, Crisis Scenario #3, Crisis Scenario #4, and Crisis Scenario #5!  Sarah’s prediction of what will be “Crisis Scenario #5” may be the best of all. HERE IT IS, PURE DYNAMITE.  ENJOY:

Well, we know who has the better dressed VP, to the tune of over $150,000, including clothes for the kiddies and husband!

Wow! This speech is pure dynamite!  No wonder the Obamacrats keep trying to destroy Sarah Palin with every cheap shot they can possibly dream up. They know they can not beat her on the issues, so they have armies of lawyers, accountants and bureaucrats crawling around trying to dig up every cheap accusation they can find. No wonder they’re afraid of Palin when she pops their hot air balloons with speeches like this!

Obama bin Biden should stop their sleazy attacks o

This speech approaches Ronald Reagan standards in its straightforward common sense and its sparkling charisma. Sarah Palin is amazing.  She is getting better and better with every day on the campaign trail. Let’s not forget folks, that Sarah Palin has only been the VP nominee for about seven weeks now. She is now really hitting her stride, making dynamic speeches, and is absolutely electrifying the crowds in her appearances before ten thousand or more people at almost stop she makes across the country. Sarah is consistently drawing larger crowds than McCain, Obama or Biden.

Go Sarah!

Sarah Palin is absolutely on her game right now, which is why the Libs and the MSM are still trying to destroy her. This speech really is dynamite. I’d love to see her debate The One himself—let’s have a Palin-Obama Debate!

I saw the snide comment about Sarah Palin’s clothing budget from “Susan”.  Yeah, I guess the RNC could have held down that budget a little, but the fact remains that it comes to about $2,000 per day over the 70 day campaign, for somebody who probably has to wear about two or three different outfits per day.  Meanwhile Obama will be spending about $15,000,000 (Fifteen Million Dollars) EVERY DAY for the final 15 days of the campaign, meaning that Obama, if his campaign works at it 12 hours per day, will be spending $150,000 about EVERY 7 MINUTES for the final 15 days of Obama’s Campaign!  Compared to Sarah’s $2,000 per DAY clothing budget for the entire 70-day election, Obama wil be spending $2,000 EVERY 5-1/2 SECONDS the final 15 days of the campaign! The Dems can not have it both ways: first they criticize Sarah Palin saying they’re not sure she is fit to meet with world leaders, then they want her to meet with world leaders in a casual wardrobe from the Gap? Come on. Maybe if Sarah had spent the past ten years in a $400,000 a year No-Show “public relations” job with a Chicago Hospital like Michelle Obama, then Sarah could afford to buy her own expensive clothes too.  I also hear that at the end of the campaign they will probably auction Sarah’s campaign outfits off for charity.

We need everyone to work to win this race, not only for the woman in Pennsylvania that was attacked and then scarred because she was a McCain supporter...but also for ALL of the hateful things said by the left wing kooks insinuating that we were the angry mobs and racists, for all of the honest voters insulted by ACORN’s actions and finally to “throw back all of the media’s lies” right back into their faces.

IF YOU CAN...SIGN UP TO DEPLOY TO A SWING STATE AND HELP THEM WIN.

Money has always been tight in our household, but I am going to Pennsylvania to help out there because I sure don’t want the American Dream stolen from us and Socialism advanced while we sleep.
