Stand up with the Men for Palin
by TheTruthSquad
We are standing up for America with American Hero John McCain and maverick Sarah Palin. Stand up for America by joining Men for Palin. Contact us by emailing
Big Mac gave us the call to stand up for America when he chose Sarah Palin to serve as his Vice President. He gave us the rhetorical call to action when he finished his convention speech with a flourish. It is moving, not because of its artful delivery or its soaring rhetoric. It is moving because behind the words stand a compelling personal journey from a narrow cell in a POW camp in Hanoi to the front doorstep of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington DC. Hear those words again:

MFP: A Grassroots Blog
by Arthur Radley
MFP is a true grassroots blog, created by bloggers who share a common interest: Breaking down the rhetoric being thrown at Governor Sarah Palin. We welcome new bloggers.
We have recently learned what it means to “astroturf” the blogosphere. In the physical world, Astroturf is the artificial grass surface used in athletic stadiums. In the virtual world of the blogosphere, astroturf is the network of artificial grassroots blogs that has sprung up.
They are artificial because they are apparently linked to public relations professionals and not to individual bloggers across the fruited plane. And guess what? The astroturf is decidedly anti-Sarah.
By contrast, MFP is a true grassroots blog, created by bloggers who share a common interest: Breaking down the rhetoric behind the anti-Palin hysteria that seems to have gripped the left. MFP is independent. We are at this point self-funded. We are fathers, sons, husbands and independent small businessmen. No one tells us what to write.
We welcome new bloggers from around the nation. If you would like to join us please contact us care of our webmaster.
The comment process is meant to be very easy. We believe in free speech, even for people with whom we disagree. You are welcome to leave comments to our entries. We don’t mind if you foam at the mouth a bit, or if you exhibit symptoms of Palin Derangement Syndrome (PDS). However, try to keep it clean - our kids read this blog.

Grassroots Blogger: “Charles W. Fairbanks”
by Charles W. Fairbanks
Charles W. Fairbanks is the nom de plume for one of our co-founders. Charles W. Fairbanks was the twenty-sixth Vice President of the United States, serving under Republican icon, Teddy Roosevelt. Like Governor Palin, he was a journalist early in his professional career.
The MFP man behind Charles W. Fairbanks is a small town, Main Street attorney. He is the husband of a dynamic professional woman, and father of two. “Fairbanks” has served on his town council and has taught Sunday School. He has participated in political campaigns, but this is his first experience as a political blogger.

Grassroots Blogger: “Garret A. Hobart”
by Garret A. Hobart
“Garret A. Hobart” is the nom de plume of another of our regular MFP bloggers, who posts as “Garret A. Hobart” and also prepares much of the analysis presented by MFP’s “Truth Squad”. The original Garret A. Hobart was the 24th Vice President of the United States, elected with William McKinley in 1896. He served as Vice President until his untimely death in November 1899. The following year, the vacancy on the ticket was filled when the Republican National Convention nominated New York Governor Theodore Roosevelt for Vice President.
The MFP man behind Garret A. Hobart is another small-town lawyer. He has served as Mayor of his town ("kind of like being a community organizer, but with actual responsibilities”—Gov. Sarah Palin), has served on the staffs of elected officials at the Federal and State levels, and in raising a family has helped to coach his kids’ sports teams, helped lead their Scout troops, and been active in community, church and pro-life activities.

Website Endorsement: Draft Sarah Palin Committee
by TheTruthSquad
The first attempt at a Draft Palin committee is afloat. Committee organizers have established a website, and plan to register a legit committee with the Federal Election Commission. Their website is found at 2012 Draft Palin Committee. It is never too early to build grassroots. Building GOP grassroots helps the GOP. We have a reason to be excited. We might as well harness the energy. Let’s follow this committee and see how they progress, shall we?

The Wall of Fame
by TheTruthSquad
The Men for Palin appear to be getting under the skin of some other bloggers. The honor roll of those who have cited us, mocked us, socked us, or rocked us is on display in the Wall of Fame Below.
Unattributable.com: If I wrote this drivel on “unattributable.com”, I wouldn’t want attribution either.
Race for 2012: MFP was honored to be criticized by this website.
Red State: Red State was the first to pick up on the moniker “Camelot Barbie” coined by MFP.
“Science Blog”: They object to our conspiracy theory. I guess that conspiracy theories are only good for the left.
Boston Edge: Another leftist who doesn’t agree with our theory about the fire at the Wasilla Bible Church.

Grassroots Blogger: Arthur Radley
by Charles W. Fairbanks
Arthur Radley is the nom de plume for one of our co-founders. The fictional character of Arthur “Boo” Radley of To Kill A Mockingbird is one of the most intriguing fictional characters in 20th Century American Literature. MFP’s Arthur Radley is also a Southerner and like his fictional namesake, only comes out every once and a while. Unlike his fictional namesake, he is a husband, father and homeowner. While he is not a “hockey dad” like Todd Palin, he is an avid “lacrosse dad” and “soccer dad”.

We need to send a strong message that law-abiding citizens have a right to own firearms, for personal protection, for hunting and for any other lawful purpose.
Hon. Sarah Palin (R-AK)
